We did it!  The SeaCan left Graminia school on February 21 and is on its way to Bangkok, Thailand where a truck will take it the final 1000 km over land into Laos.  This has been an amazing co-creative effort which included the donations of the Sea Can, $5,000 in shipping costs, packing supplies and clothing and blankets from schools in Alberta and Saskatchewan which amounted to 11,000 pounds!  Also, volunteer time by many teachers and parents and friends for sorting, folding and packing the clothing and those that picked up clothing and drove it to our collection site.  Truly spectacular.  Our group of 13 will depart Canada on March 20th and meet the container in Laos, to unpack and distribute to over 2,000 children.
